About L!NCHPIN

Last updated: 2026-10-19

L!NCHPIN is a free PUBG stats and match-review site. There are plenty of stat trackers; what we want is to dig one layer below the numbers — not just your K/D and ADR, but how each fight actually happened and how it was lost.

Who runs it

L!NCHPIN is designed, built and run by one person, isaac.lin, who also writes the analysis articles on this site.

What the site does

  • Season overview: K/D, ADR, headshot rate, win rate and recent form for ranked and normal modes.
  • Engagement review: a match broken down fight by fight — hit locations, shot distance, time to kill (TTK), and who knocked you and from where.
  • 2D replay: the whole match's movement and fights replayed on the map.
  • Recording alignment and clipping: drop in your own gameplay recording, it aligns to every engagement automatically, and you can cut highlights in one click. The video is processed entirely on your computer and never uploaded.
  • Leaderboard: accounts that have been looked up on this site, ranked per mode.

Where the data comes from

All stats come from the official PUBG developer API (public data provided by KRAFTON). Beyond the season stats PUBG pre-computes, every match has a telemetry log that records each hit, knock and kill with its time, position and weapon.

The engagement review, hit locations, TTK and similar analysis are computed by our own telemetry parser; the official API does not provide them directly. PUBG keeps telemetry for roughly the last 14 days, so in-depth analysis covers recent matches only.

How we calculate

  • AI bots are labeled separately: bot accounts have fixed markers in the telemetry, which we use to flag which opponents in an engagement review were bots. Season totals are pre-computed by PUBG and cannot be split into humans and bots, and we don't pretend otherwise.
  • The leaderboard only includes accounts that have been looked up on this site. Ranked mode is ordered by official rank points; normal mode uses a weighted composite score in which ADR carries the most weight.
  • Every conclusion in our articles states its sample size, and each article ends with what it did not manage to verify. We never use samples to estimate PUBG's total player count.

Original analysis

Our articles apply the same telemetry parsing to specific questions — measuring TTK across 2,458 kills, how elite players die, how lethal each map is, whether vehicles are actually safe. Each one lists its data source and limitations, and is available in five languages.

Independence

  • L!NCHPIN is built on the official PUBG API and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by KRAFTON, Inc. PUBG and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS are trademarks of KRAFTON, Inc.
  • Every lookup and analysis feature is free. The site may show ads, but ads never block any stats and you are never required to click one to use a feature.
  • You can tip the site on Ko-fi (https://ko-fi.com/linchpin_gg); tips don't unlock any extra features or perks.
